Hope, Alex, and Grandpa found a great place to watch the parade.

霍普，亚历克斯和爷爷找到了一个观看游行的好地方。

First came a policeman on a motorcycle. Hope said, “Look at the police officer!”

首先过来的是一个骑摩托车的警察。霍普说：“看那个警察！”

Firemen waved from a big red truck. Alex said, “Look at the firemen!”

消防队员们站在一辆红色的大卡车上挥手。亚历克斯说：“看那些消防队员！”

A band marched by to the beat of four big drums. Grandpa said, “Look at the drums!”

一支乐队以敲着四个大鼓行进着。爷爷说：“看那个鼓！”

A clown with balloons walked over to them. “Do you want some balloons?” he asked.

一个小丑拿着气球向他们走来。“你想要一些气球吗？”他问道。

Hope said, “I want a red balloon.” Alex said, “I want a white balloon.” Grandpa said, “I want a blue balloon.”

霍普说：“我想要一个红色的气球。”亚历克斯说：“我想要一个白色的气球。”爷爷说：“我想要一个蓝色的气球。”

Hope, Alex, and Grandpa paraded home with their red, white, and blue balloons.

霍普，亚历克斯和爷爷拿着他们的红、白、蓝气球一路游行回家了。
