特克斯和英迪正在从篮子中取出他们的午餐。

“One sandwich for me,” said Tex. “And one sandwich for you.”

“这是给我自己的三明治，”特克斯说。“这个是给你的。”

“One juice box for me,” said Indi. “And one juice box for you.”

“这盒是给我自己的果汁，”英迪说。“这盒是给你的。”

“One piece of yummy apple pie for me!” said Tex.

“And?” said Indi.

“And what?” asked Tex.

“给我一块美味的苹果派！”特克斯说。

“还有呢？”英迪说。

“还有什么啊？”特克斯问。

“Where’s the yummy piece of apple pie for me?”They turned the picnic basket upside down, but nothing came out.

“我的那块美味的苹果派去哪了呢？”他们把午餐篮翻过来，但是里面什么也没有。

“I guess we could split this piece in half,” said Tex.

“我想我们可以把这块派分成两半，”特克斯说。

“Good idea,” said Indi. “That way there will be a little bit for both of us.”

“好主意，”英迪说。“这样的话我们俩都能有一块苹果派了。”

Just then Cow ran by, chasing a butterfly.

就在那时，一只母牛跑过，它正在追蝴蝶。

“Oh, Cow!” said Tex. “You stepped in our pie!”

“天呀，母牛！”特克斯说。“你踩到我们的派了！”

Cow sat down and licked his sticky paw.

Indi laughed. “Oh, well,” she said. “At least somebody gets dessert!”

母牛卧下舔了舔它黏糊糊的蹄子。

英迪笑起来。“哇，好吧，”他说，“至少有人吃到了甜点！”
